Manassas Visitor's guide

In 2020, I launched a self-initiated project to document the enduring spirit of my hometown during the global pandemic. This Visitor’s Guide was designed to remind residents and visitors alike that despite the challenges of COVID-19, the heart of Old Town Manassas—its history, local businesses, and vibrant culture remained as beautiful as ever.

Capturing Community Resilience Through Design
The Process I conducted on-site community outreach, visiting local shops and interviewing employees to capture the authentic "voice" of the city during a historic turning point. I wanted to showcase how the city’s dining, arts, and shopping scenes were adapting, creating a bridge between the city’s rich history and its modern evolution.
Technical Execution
Software: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Focus Areas: Layout design, typography, community interviews, and brand storytelling.
Outcome: A comprehensive, print-ready guide highlighting local attractions, dining, and historical landmarks.
